[theming] please help

This is a landing page that I am trying to build. http://www.mikeyfixedit.com/mikeyfixedit.jpg

I've already designed the header and backgrounds. The trouble I am having is with the actual content, whether I need to designate a regions, use views to make it possible or panels. Please give me some ideas on how to build this. I can figure most stuff out but for some reason at the moment I can't wrap my own head around this. This also might be because I work a full time job.

Im not looking for a step by step tutorial just ideas. My brain is always fried from full time job. I apologize if this seems scattered brain. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hey there. I would love to give you some theming and site building pointers, or recommendations based on your image... But your link is dead. Re-post a working link and I would love to have a look at it.
