I am able to install OP for D6 with now trouble. But for D7, I upload the files and nothing happens.
Looking at files OP for D6 and D7, it appears that the D7 bundle is tiny. It doesn't appear there is enough there to install a drupal site.

Am I supposed to add the typical Drupal 7 software to the OP software and upload them all at once?

Are you downloading the full bundle? It's located here. http://openpublishapp.com/download. You should be able to upload it to your web directory and install with no problem. If you are talking about this http://drupal.org/project/openpublish then yes, that doesn't really do anything. I'm not even sure what that download is for. Maybe others in the group can help us understand it. That would be helpful. I hope this cleared some things up.

I was kind of confused. I had a few hours to kill this weekend and tried nodestream, which seems interesting. But I think I like OP better.

No D6 to D7 yet

There is currently no upgrade path from D6 of OP to D7 version of it.

That said, extracting Drupal 7 over OP (D6) will not do anything except breaking your site (probably).

To install D7 version of OP, you have to download it from the OpenPublishApp.com website.

Is there a theme ready for the D7 download? So far, there is only a bare-bones theme for developers.
