Hello Documentation Team!
As you probably have noticed, the Documentation Team is no longer taking full responsibility for maintaining/writing/editing the Community Documentation (recently renamed -- http://drupal.org/documentation). As part of the effort to move this responsibility out of the Documentation Team and into the Community at large, we are mostly trying not to use Documentation issues to report problems. Instead, we're encouraging people to edit the pages directly, or at least add a comment and change the page status.
So, I'd like to introduce a "sprint" (work project) for February (although you can start on it today): Cleaning up the Documentation project's issue queue. The task is basically to examine all the Documentation project issues, and either tag them with the new "valid issue" tag (possibly after fixing their status, component, etc.), or close them (i.e., mark their status as fixed, duplicate, etc.).
Details are on this "meta" issue: http://drupal.org/node/1421874 -- let's get this done!
Also, check out the new text at the top of http://drupal.org/node/add/project-issue/documentation and the newly-edited Fixing and responding to issues and Documentation issue reports pages. If you have suggestions on how any of those could be improved or made clearer, let me know (you can comment here with suggestions).
