User group meeting

Time again for a DUG meetup in Salt Lake. We will be holding it at the Walker center (just like every month). Signs will be placed to direct you on how to get up to the conference room where we will be (usually by calling to have someone come let you in). If you are there at 7:00pm we usually wait for a few minutes for people to show up before we enter.

You can park in the Walker Center parking garage (it will cost about $4) or at the Carl's Jr. (if you purchase something). If you ride TRAX you can get off at the Gallivan Center station (the Walker Center is about a block north of that station). Both the Sandy (blue) and West Valley (green) lines go to this station.

Planned discussion:

  • Aegir
  • Writing a module that exposes fields in D7

Don't forget

Jason is also planning to talk about "writing a module that exposes fields in D7". He also said something about an interpretive dance, but I pretty sure there won't be time for that...

Wrong date?

Today is the first Tuesday of the month. I thought this group met on the 2nd Tuesday...?

Never mind! I realize now it's on Thursday, not Tuesday. Sorry for my confusion!

Speaking of don't

Speaking of don't forget....please remind all attendees and spread the word to friends, family, colleagues, clients, vendors:

Drupalcon Denver is next month and the early-bird discount on tickets ends in just 2 more weeks!

Thanks for helping us spread the word!

For those who weren't at the meeting tonight, here is my Aegir on CentOS 6 install tutorial.

For those of you who prefer Ubunbtu Server, just follow the instructions on aegirproject.org, they like Ubuntu over there.
