Aggregating RSS Feeds

Hiya All,

I am setting up our OpenPublish installation at http://monctonfreepress.ca for RSS feed aggregation

I have been following the documentation at http://docs.openpublishapp.com/display/openpublishd6/Consuming+Incoming+...

The feed aggregates OK and contents are placed into the content type 'Feed item'. So far so good.

However, this part of the documentation puzzles me:

Open the "Processors" field set and select the appropriate "Node type of feed items". Try "Article" as a good first test.

The Processors field set dialogue does not appear on the Feed editing form. I haven't been able to find any way of enabling it - it is as though it doesn't exist. Any suggestions?

I'm using OP6 on Drupal 6.

More on the same issue...

I figured I'd be OK even if I didn't have a processor, I could just display a 'feed-item' on a page.

But I'm completely stumped.

I was able to create a 'block' view out of feeds_defaults_feed_items (Feeds defaults) that would show all 'feed-items' and not just the ones for a specific feed. It previewed just fine.

But I can't figure out how to get it onto the home page. It doesn't show up as a block in the list of blocks that can be added to a context. I created an empty block with the same name, which does show up, but it stays empty. I've looked at the configuration for other blocks (like the one that lists articles on the home page) and they don't provide any indication of how the content is entered. And there is no documentation anywhere that shows how to do this.

So - how do I get contents from views into a black that can be seen on a page?

The second problem is

The second problem is solved.

This Drupal fourm thread was helpful:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/836195/drupal-how-to-show-specific-vi...

What I found I had to do was clear the cache - after I did that, the new blocks began to show up in the list of blocks.
