Drupal Camp statues.

    • New design and content should be up later this week.
    • Space can hold 150+ people

    • 33% design 33% newbee 33% codemonkeys & business

    • Morten needs to create a writeup for d.o and g.d.o.
  • Boston

    • Working on Venue (I think this is locked down and can handle 250+)
    • 100% design and newbie centered
    • design pretty well squared away and theme/site being created.
    • Need speakers/sponsors. Will hit this when we have a design.

Drupalcon Paris Design Track

  • Morten is heading to barcamp in brussels for more on this.
  • Morten is the POC for this. It's still being fleshed out.

Snippets

  • drupalsnippets.com
  • Need to touch base with CCG about IA
  • What about folding this into a design.drupal.org?

Themes

  • Morten gave an overview of the Mothership theme (http://drupal.org/project/mothership). This theme cleans out the excess code drupal core, views, etc deliver via template files.
  • D7 Themes
    • Mark Boulton wants to contribute a theme.
    • Morten and Claudio have both volunteered to try to create a design for core.
    • Any others want to try?

Theme System

  • Better way to theme forms
  • mfer is going to write up how to add stuff to the drupal issue queue.

Documentation

  • We need a simple guide on how to contribute a theme.
  • Maybe a better way to organize screenshots for feedback.
  • JohnAlbin is working on a list of task-based theme tutorials and Palantir is going to help flush it out and do screencasts of some (most?) of them. These should end up in the handbook?

On a site note, we need to be able to upload themes via a zip and skip cvs.

We need to encourage people to not wait for permission but just chase after what they find important.
