I think the better idea would be to specify a time and place.

Bladwin and I are both coming to Denver from the 18th to the 25th, including the ski weekend in Breckenridge. Shall we try and get at least a Bof posted?
Hi all -- fairly new to the Drupal groups and the Rainbow group in particular. My company is a gay-owned development agency, located in Denver. Would love to make friends with any Drupal Rainbow attendees coming to town. We're also hosting an informal happy hour for friends and clients. If you want added to the invite list, email mike@601am.com. We could also be persuaded to put together a group outing to one of our local fine gay bars.
Hi, apbailey! This sounds like a great thing. Since you know the area, what would you say to planning such an outing? My experience is that someone has to "take the reins", and who better than a local?

Great point -- I'm happy to coordinate. How does Tuesday night, March 20, at 8pm work for everyone? The most popular bar in town is Xbar however it's about a mile from the convention center (google map). Will most people have cars or be willing to take taxis or should I find a non-LGBT venue?
After discussing this with my team, here's what we're planning:
Let's meet up at XBar starting at 6:30pm on Tuesday, March 20th. Their address is 629 East Colfax Avenue (directions from Convention Center). A few from my team will be there and we'll buy everyone a drink. (We'll buy you multiple drinks if you're a Drupal developer looking for work :))
XBar has food, in case you come hungry. If you want to go to the official opening party at 8pm, you'll have plenty of time to get there. We won't be attending the opening party, but sticking around XBar for a while, so come by late!
Any questions, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @aaronbailey or email aaron@601am.com.
No, not at SXSW this year (or last year). I think I OD'd on the monstrosity of it all, so lately I'm focusing more on niche communities and conferences where I'll actually learn something.

Anyone else going on the post-DrupalCon trip to Breckenridge? Would love to find some ski/board buddies!
Also, I have a room at the The Village Hotel on Friday and Saturday night and wouldn't mind sharing it (and the cost) with someone. It's got a double bed and a sleeper sofa. Reply or ping me @mattkoltermann if you're interested.
Hi all -- we're still on for tonight at 6:30pm at X Bar (scroll up for details).
We'll be the guys wearing our corporate shirts (blue polos with 601am on them -- nerdy, yes). We'll try to stand somewhere noticeable so everyone can find the group.
@aaronbailey me if you need directions or get lost.
Hey bud, I missed the one on tuesday and I've wanted to check out the bar so I can join ya. What time were you planning to? I am staying with these super nice hosts near Yale station so don't wanna keep them up too late.

JCL
Agreed. BoF would be nice.
I'm around all week—and through the weekend, though not skiing. Lets try to coordinate when we arrive to schedule a BoF.
Longer stay here...
I'm staying 9 days in total... so will be there the weekend before and the weekend after for sprinting (though not snowboarding, unfortunately).
