Out of the past 15 DrupalCon's that have been held, I have had the opportunity to attend exactly one of them. Whether it's time, or budget, or some other reason, sometimes it's just difficult or inconvenient to make it. I can't help but feel like I'm not the only person in that position.
With all of the videos and presentations that do make their way on to the internet, you can usually catch a drift of what was being discussed... but I started thinking that it would be great if there was a way to ask questions DURING a presentation, even if I can't be in the room at the time. You could actually participate and get something out of the conference that was meaningful to YOU without having to attend.
From that, I had the idea to attempt to gather questions/comments/concerns... and see if there was any way that I, or a group of people, could attempt to find answers and report back. This could either be a huge undertaking, and I will need to select from the top requested items and solicit help from other people attending the conference... or I will handle a couple of requests and attempt to get as in-depth a response possible. We'll see how it pans out... I have a few topics that I'm interested in learning about in more depth on my own, but I'd love to hear what questions/comments/concerns you would like voiced at the conference.
I will have a follow-up event in my company's offices in DC in the first couple weeks of April.
If anyone is going, and interested in helping out, I'd love to hear from you as well!
Thanks!
Steve

Posting slides in addition to video
This is a comment about the archives of the Denver DrupalCon.
I appreciate the video clips of the presentations, which sync the slides to the audio recordings. However, I would like to request that the slides themselves also be posted, because if all I want to do is look for a link the speaker provided, I would rather not have to listen through the whole presentation to get to that point. I realize I can skip back and forth in the video but having slides would make it easier.
Apologies if this is not the right forum to raise this issue -- please advise where I should post if not.
Not here
I'm not really sure what the best forum is, but this isn't it. I know that some sessions had links to the slides, but I think it was up to the presenters to post them if they wanted to. If there are specific ones that you're interested in, you might have luck reaching out to the presenters directly.
