I'm still working on finding a location to hold our camp. The last place that was suggested was the Downtown Salt Lake Library. They do offer spaces for free, however, we apparently don't qualify. To host it there it's going to cost us about $250 for the day and we can't sell tickets or promote products and services there. If we pay more, then we can what ever we want. However, I wanted to do what I can to keep the event low cost or free, since that was the general feeling around the group.
Now, back to the search. Is there anyone out there who knows of, or has access to a venue that we can use?

gti
I'll check with GTI today and see what they can offer. There are several meetups and community events there so I don't think space would be a problem. It's a few blocks from TRAX and plenty of parking. Bringing food from the outside is also permitted.
Update: GTI is $24/hr for rooms that can accommodate approximately 20 people. Outside food is allowed. It does however require $2m liability insurance and can only be booked one month in advance. At this time, June 15th is available, June 29th is not.
dates?
Has a decision been made on dates? From the voting it's either June 14/15 or 28/29. There was some chatter about only holding it one day.
Since it was a tie between
Since it was a tie between the available dates on the poll, I was just going to pick one of those days that was also available at the venue.
$24/hour would still end up being around $200 if we went the entire day.
WGU
I have asked if we can use WGU again. If so, I will see if we can't get operations to open up a few more ports for us and allow us a bit more band width than they provide on the guess access. No promises other than I have learned from my mistakes and won't make those again. Hopefully that means we will get better results, right?
Have we looked at somewhere on campus at the U? or even BYU?

Response
WGU is willing to host DrupalCamp Utah again this year. I have, preemptively, sent a note to our operations manager asking him if we can open things up a little more than last year. Hopefully with enough advanced notice he will be okay with doing so.
If we do want to book a time we need to have a final decision before too long.

Perfect
Thanks Tyler!
I started a new poll to see which day out of the previously select dates would work for most of us. You can vote here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/221394
Rooms booked if wanted
I have scheduled the large conference room at WGU for the 15th of June. It can be divided into two rooms (one about twice the size of the other) if we so desire. Both have projectors. I will continue to see what I can work out with the operations team about opening up networking according to our needs.
This doesn't mean we have to use it but it is available. My opinions have been shared and I'll be there regardless of the venue which is chosen.

BYU
I'm sending out an email to the BYU Webmasters today to gauge the interest in having it here. We would need a department to sponsor it. I'm not in a position right now to say yes or no, but I'll see the level of interest and see if someone would sponsor it.
Is Spanish Fork too far?
I have checked with my supervisor, and can offer facilities at the Nebo School District Offices without charge. We have an open guest network (SSH, SFTP, etc open for use), projector, plenty of room, and access to a small kitchen area.
We are located in Spanish Fork, which would be a longer drive for those located in the North, and there is no Trax access, but there is a UTA bus stop right in front of the building (I have no idea any of the schedules etc.).
Not to far, just unknown
I think part of the concern with Spanish Fork is an unknown Drupal community. I know that are a lot of people who use Drupal in Utah county but we don't know their strength or numbers. It is my impression that Jeremy (the director of the camp this year) would prefer to stay near Salt Lake as we know more about the Drupal community there.
I would love to see us have the camp in Utah county. Maybe we aren't ready to try it this year but we should really work with the Utah county Drupal users to get them more involved in the community in a noticeable way (take away the fear).
If we formalize the way we do the camps a little more, I say we look at getting a Utah county director for the next camp. Those are my thoughts.

unknown
Yes, Spanish Fork is not central to everywhere, but if we are only meeting for one day, it shouldn't be too big of a deal. While the Drupal Community in SP may not be huge, the community at BYU is very large. Unfortunately, the Drupal Community at BYU is not very well united, so we don't know exactly how many drupal webmasters we have. I sent out an email to our webmasters a few days ago. From the people that responded, it looks like we will have at least 15 people from BYU that would attend.
If we have the facilities in SP for Drupal Camp...I vote we go there.
Sponsor
We might also have a sponsor at BYU. They want to know how many people attended last year. Also, I like the idea of Spanish Fork...but I also live in Provo.
Last Year
Last year we had 28 people signup to come and I believe 26 individuals attended. Not all were there the whole time (last year it was a two day event).

Great, Thanks Wadley0 and
Great, Thanks Wadley0 and Mohhess!
We've already started checking into the dates at WGU, if it's not available we'll try for Nebo or BYU.
Already it looks like the majority of the vote is going to June 15. We can probably start planning on that date if you want to check now those two locations are available then.
Also, since you two probably represent part of Utah County, mind giving me some feed back on this thread too? http://groups.drupal.org/node/221459
Nebo is Available
Nebo is currently available on all four dates listed in the poll. (I've reserved the 15th, to hold the spot, in case we need it. If not that is fine).
Just to get things
Just to get things finalized... one more vote needed: http://groups.drupal.org/node/222689
