We will need to find a new meeting space for the Central CT Drupal Meetup. I have several phone calls and emails out to different possibilities, however, as of today, I am still looking for a new location.
If you have a suggestion, location or contact for a location that we may consider, please let me know.
We would like a place that can hold up to a dozen people, and ideally, with a projection system and access to the Internet.
We will meet at Luna's Pizza on Tuesday 4/17 for our next meeting at 5:30pm or so, and worst case, will head over to a Panera's Bread for our meeting.
Cheers,
Mark

What places have you
What places have you contacted so far Mark? Just so we possibly aren't contacting the same place...

Most of the libraries in the area seem pretty picky when it comes to reserving their meeting rooms, however, it looks like the Wethersfield Library is pretty open.

They will also allow one a month regular bookings, this library also seems to be in a fairly central part of the state.
Let me know what you think and I could see about contacting them or you could give them a call.

For the short term, we will
For the short term, we will be meeting at the Lucy Robbins Welles Library in Newington, CT. Their address is 95 Cedar Street, Newington, CT 06111-2603. Their web address is http://www.newingtonct.gov/content/78/118/136/618/default.aspx. However, their policy is to limit the number of meeting rooms that any one group can reserve to 4 per year. (We luck out as their year officially ends during the summer so if need be, we can hold our meetings there for 6 or 7 months.) Thus, we still need to look for a meeting location for long term use.
Wethersfield Library is not available on Tuesday nights. The West Hartford Library does not have convenient parking. I have contacted or am waiting to hear from Trinity College, the University of Hartford and Rensselaer at Hartford, as well as a couple of possibilities in the business world.
So, we are set for the short term but do need a new location for the long term.
(In the short term, we have a projector available to us. Finding a location with a projector is another reason to look for another location besides the library. None of the libraries have projectors available for use.)
