In OP 2.3 you use views to change the story/block/page for articles.
I can't figure out how to change the front page teaser show that it shows a photo on the front page.

Can you provide more detail?
Can you provide more detail? When you say you want to change the front page teaser, do you mean you want to restructure the view, or you want to change what content shows in that location?
If you need to change the view, you should be able to roll over the block that you want to tweak and you should be able to edit the view (after you are logged in of course).
If you want to change what content display in that location, you need to go to Context: Site Building > Context.
Find the Frontpage context and configure which blocks display in that context.
Hope this helps.

I see context for note detail pages, searches and sitewide.
But no front page.
Changes are in Views
The OP2 teaser changes are made in Views - /admin/build/views/edit/frontpage. Under Basic Settings change Row Style to Fields and under Fields add what you need.
Context will allow adding various views/blocks to pages so doesn't appear relevant to your problem. I haven't used OP2 for a while - I moved to OP3 in Feb12.
Interesting though, I thought OP2 default frontpage included Image & teaser/content formatted for frontpage viewing - I just did a test on default OP2 install and it worked fine.

I am using OP3 now. I can't make things go on the front page. There is no built in context for the front, unless I am missing it.
So....
I left OP for Nodestream, but today I came back.
And with some fiddling I answered my own questions.
1. I had to create my own front page context. Which was troublesome
, because you have to disable Delta to change any contexts.
2. Changing the appearance of Teasers is no longer done in Views. It's done in Structure/Content/**contenttype***
Interesting.
Now that's i;ve found this out, I am having a blast.
