I know that the Michigan Drupal group is meeting at Spark on Wednesday, will there still be an Ann Arbor spark meeting this Monday?

Drupal meetings next week
The Michigan Drupal meeting did get a little close in location and date to the regular Ann Arbor Drupal meeting. The Ann Arbor meeting usually has some folks who are advanced Drupal users sharing information about specific projects and also explaining things to newbies. (This note is for others - I know you come to the A2 meetings, Dave.)
A2 D welcomes anyone with questions or projects and it is a very relaxed group. The three group organizers are posted at right , I notice at least one of them is coming to the Michigan Drupal meeting. Michigan Drupal will be moving around -- it was just a fluke that we scheduled a meeting so close this time. Sorry about that.
If you have time, I would take a chance and come out to the A2 meeting! I am pretty sure they will be there - and I would be too if I didn't have the long drive home to Albion. One of my favorite parts of the A2 meeting is talking to smart people afterwards down the street.

Questions
I see a comment above saying that the Michigan Drupal Meeting is this Wednesday (May 2nd) at Spark. Is this true? I tried looking through the Michigan Drupal Group discussions and couldn't find any information on such a meeting. Can someone confirm this as well as the time?
Also, I was hoping to attend tonight's Ann Arbor meeting at Spark, but am unable to do so. I haven't been to any of these yet. Do you have to RSVP in order to attend? Also....I see that the May meeting is on Memorial Day. Is that meeting going to be changed to a different day? Or is it still going to be held on Memorial Day?

I heard a rumor about this too, but I haven't seen anyone post anything to any of the different groups.drupal.org areas (Ann Arbor, Jackson, Detroit, or the general Michigan one). I'm guessing it has something to do with the Shifting Code program that SPARK and Alex have been facilitating...
For the a2Drupal groups, there is no need to RSVP--just show up. I'll check this evening what people want to do for May, but I do know that SPARK Central is unavailable because of the holiday, and they informed me the other nights are booked, so if we held something, it wouldn't be at the usual location.

Thanks for your quick reply. I signed up for the Shifting Code meeting so I can get more exposure to the Drupal Community.
I will wait to hear about the May Ann Arbor Meeting. I hope another location can be found so that there will still be a meeting.

Thanks for the link. I went to it and RSVP'd, since it looks like there are only 9 spots left. I would just show up, but this one looks pretty full, so I thought I'd put in an official RSVP. Just waiting on approval to be part of the group. :-)
