Just wanted to know if there are any OPs in New York that want to meet up and connect / share / learn and grow together. Maybe even co-work weekly?

We moved the magazine from an old ColdFusion implementation to Drupal -- for the simple reason that the old system was outdated and unstable, so they needed an upgrade, and Drupal was the right choice.

We used OpenPublish because I'd read and heard a lot about it and we needed a newsroom-oriented solution for Drupal. But we've ended up overriding a lot of its functionality which leaves us in a somewhat complex place as far as upgrades and such. So I'd be interested to talk about how OP users see the future of the distro.

Looks like we're finally getting the ball rolling on a possible meetup. And if you guys would really like to connect / share / learn your OP experience in NYC, let's work together and make it happen.
