Re: Alumni sites
Hey guys, just following your thread and I too have a challenge of getting an Alumni site off the ground. I am new to both Drupal and CiviCRm. I am considering to use Drupal 7 and the latest CiviCrm package. The aim is to create an Alumni site using drupal + civicrm that will facilitate at least 100 schools to aid in coordinating donations and maintaining Alumni contacts by year started the
school and year left. Example http://www.friendsreunited.com and or alumni.afs.org.nz. We would like persons registering to the site to be able to see a list of schools and request to join before donating or participating in any related events for that institution.
Can anyone guide me along or point me in the right direction of modules to use or a professionals who would help. I know how to install Drupal and CiviCRM (just the works).
I need to be able to:
Have persons register
request to Join school from a list (similar to groups.drupal.org) and see number of persons already in group
See events planned for that school
Collect donations
Allow profile update
send reminders or mail to subscribers
Help???
Thanks alot guys.
Thanks
