Hello, all,
When adding new posts, I seem to have lost the ability to make posts publicly visible, even in groups I manage --
The checkbox (make this post public) is gone --
Is this a new change, or did I just miss the announcement?
And if this was a choice, can it be reconsidered, or what was the rationale behind it? IMO, we lose a lot of the potential to get more people into these communities of they can't see what's going on before they join.
And, fwiw, here's a screenshot of what I see when I'm adding a post in the education group.
Cheers,
Bill

Label bug
"The label says private, but they are actually public."
I agree this seems a bug. Let's hope those old private/public labels will be removed to prevent confusions, since all published posts are public now.
i did notice that my that
i did notice that my that are to a specific group say "private" on them though, which is sort of misleading - is that a relic of the old functionality?
PS
big thanks to moshe, greg and whoever else is working on the g.d.o interface - i finally got around to adding new pages/panels onto the /vancouver group today and realized how much work has gone into the site over the last year. you rock.
