Sorry to be that guy, I'm just curious where things are. The last news update was in March, the last post on the Twitter account was in March, and most of the issues from the Denver sprint haven't been updated since then.
Are there new sprints being planned, virtually or in person? Any updated roadmap?
I totally get the "it's done when it's done" timeline (and I'm fine with that), but I'm curious what the level of activity is, and if there are ways I can help.

From what I can gather there
From what I can gather there is a bunch of work being done on COD but on different fronts and different places.
The two sprints I know of are:
July 27-28 at http://capitalcamp.org/
August 17th-18th at http://2012.drupalcampasheville.com/
I'm the asheville organizer and working with the atlanta guys so we are pushing on the same front. I know the Promet Source guys are also doing a lot of cod work.
Your best source to track activity is directly in the issue queue:

Paid registration workflow
Ezra, Acquia, the D.A., Promet, OpenSourcery and a few others are really bringing the heat this month to get the D7 release out the door.
One of the major blockers is adapting the Commerce Registrations workflow to work with the DrupalCon checkout requirements. Joseph Pontani (Commerce Registrations maintainer), Ezra and ThinkShout (the Entity Registrations maintainers) are making a big push to get this stuff working.
ThinkShout will be sprinting on the paid registration stuff next week. We'll also be sprinting at Capital Camp and look forward to collaborating with other folks. In short, this will be a huge month for COD. If you see Ezra, make sure that he's hydrated, as his plate will be more than full accepting patches and monitoring commits.
