Let's discuss the meet-up in August. The tentative date I have set is August 18th (3rd Tuesday) and currently have no place arranged. We now have 70 members in our Utah Group and we are pretty spread out unfortunately. I'd like to be able to make the meetings convenient for as many people as possible. Alright, let's discuss!
(Once we get a date and place determined I'm going to start a wiki page with the Agenda)

How about BYU?
I'd be happy to schedule a room on BYU campus for you. I can get a room for 100 people if you need it. =)
Thanks for the offer, Dave.
Thanks for the offer, Dave. I'll add this to the list of options for us to vote on. BYU seems a little far some of us Davis County folk, but if the shoe fits for everyone else then maybe we can give it a shot!

It might make sense to do
It might make sense to do every other meeting in Utah County, since it seems a large number of the group is down there. Maybe rotating between Utah County and SL County will boost community involvement. I'd be willing to drive down once every few months.

sounds good to me.
I think it definitely boost community involvement to rotate locations. Plus the date is perfect, after summer finals for UVU, and I think BYU as well for students.

BYU Sounds good to me. Hopefully we can switch off and get the same attendance.
Sounds like everyone is pretty set on that so I'm going to go ahead and create a wiki page for the agenda. Would we be doing this on BYU Campus or somewhere else? Dave is offering a room for us that seems to work. Anyone else in that area have something?

I think a room at BYU is best.

All right, well BYU it is
All right, well BYU it is then. Dave, can you arrange something for us and let us know the directions to it? (i.e. Building, Room No., etc.)
Hopefully I'll have some time to create the Wiki Page today so we can start with an agenda.

What day and time? You
What day and time? You mentioned the 18th in your original post... I'll try and get a room in the Tanner building (http://map.byu.edu/?building=tnrb), which has a nice amount of ground-level parking and good rooms.

Got the room scheduled (Room W110). We've got it starting at 7pm. We technically have it until 9pm, but I really doubt anyone will be trying to make us leave at 9 (I've never seen it happen, anyway). :)
Are most of you in Utah
Are most of you in Utah County then?
I'd be interested in hearing the various ways people have implemented Drupal. I'm relatively new to Drupal, discovered it in January and now it's my religion... so to speak.
Anyway, I'm up for sharing what I have done and what other people are doing. In fact some feed back on some of the things I am doing would be nice too. Thoughts?
Since you're planning on
Since you're planning on being there would you like to take some time to present some of the things you have done and maybe have an open discussion with the group? It would be more like you presenting and then just an open discussion. No pressure. If interested then feel free to edit the wiki page with the agenda. Welcome to Drupal!

I would sacrifice myself for
I would sacrifice myself for that, insisting more on the open discussion portion. How much time would be set aside for that? I assume there is presentation equipment? ie projector and internet connection?
It's up to you. We could
It's up to you. We could probably give you 5 minutes to explain, and 10 minutes of discussion. If the agenda is pretty empty, like it is now, then we could probably open it up a little more.
