its worth it
Its hard to overstate Arjen's expertise in MySQL and his ability to share that with others. I always walk away with something new and feeling ready to tackle the scariest database scenarios, yet still dwarfed by his knowledge.
Q/A with Arjen alone, is worth the cost of the course when compared with needing to call in an expert.
Even if you're not a system admin, I recommend the performance course for understanding what makes your queries slow.
