Yes, I am going to purposely make a silly acronym for everything :D
As with Drupal itself, there is never one answer for what type of events we need for Drupal. Then there's timing - some people can't make Mondays, some can't make evenings, etc. I'm a great believer in what one of the Drupal London guys said in Munich about having more, smaller events. That doesn't mean we shouldn't have the big ones too, but we can achieve more being small pieces loosely joined.
What would be good is if people could post their requests and ideas up as to what they're looking for and we could go from there.
I'd also like to start spreading the load a bit more - BAD Ass is not just about me and what I want, and as I hear more voices talking about their needs I realise our fab little group is ready / over ready for diversification of both events and roles and responsibilities.
I've asked theskiff if we can permanently base BAD Ass at theskiff - I'm going to be retaking up a desk there and hopefully other Drupal people will come and join me there too, either full or part-time (plenty of info on http://theskiff.org).
I think having a permanent base IRL for BAD Ass will help it to grow, give a little more confidence in the group itself, and also help maintain and grow theskiff without which we wouldn't have got this far in the first place I'm sure.
Ending rant now, please continue.... :D

Growing a Drupal Business
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the post - I thought you'd be asleep for a week after Munich!
I'd really like a business meetup focused on growing a Drupal business as opposed to how to grow your business by using Drupal, which is also another cracking idea for a meetup.
I guess the timing would depend on other local Drupal shops availability so thought I'd post here so others can reply, see if there's any interest in taking it forward.
Thanks,
Steve
BEDLEM?
You do know that Bedlam the place is spelled with an 'a' yeah? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bethlem_Royal_Hospital
Not that it really matters I suppose - silly acronyms rarely make sense.
Oops
Oh well
