I know we've postponed the panel discussion on project pricing, but I'm wondering what other freelancers are using for their accounting software?? I'm currently using LessAccounting, http://lessaccounting.com and so far I've been able to figure it out easily enough. My problem is, the invoices themselves are rather unattractive and they are not customizable.
I'm interested in web based solutions, but won't discount (sorry for the pun) software that runs locally. I'm 100% Linux based. What are you using to invoice clients?

LOVE Freshbooks
We don't bother to integrate with QB, though you can. You can do estimates, turn those into invoice or recurring invoices. If you take something other than paypal, you can do automated credit card charges too. If you track time and expenses, they have those features though we don't really bother. We love it. I can monthly invoicing in about an hour. Checkup on deadbeats and slowpayers with a few clicks. Highly recommend! A couple of hours after I posted, I ran into Freshbooks myself. Have moved my accounting to them. So far, I really like them as I was able to quickly put together an invoice with my logo!

Regarding project pricing, Lee at Exaltation of Larks did a great presentation this month at BADcamp on estimation of Drupal projects. I'll see if she plans to post the slides or write something up for our blog.
