Hey there!
I've probably met a few of you, but for the rest, I'm Brock Boland. I live down in DC, and I'm involved in the Drupal Ladder initiative: http://drupalladder.org
The gist of it is that we're working to get more people involved in contributing to core, with a goal of 1% of drupal.org users contributing to Drupal core by summer 2014.
There are two main ways that we're working to achieve that goal:
- Learn sprints, where we work through lessons on DrupalLadder.org
- Issue sprints, where we work on issues from the Drupal core issue queue
We've been doing sprints here in DC, and other user groups have been hosting them all over the world.
Would you guys have any interest in taking part? We would need someone to meet with:
- Chairs and tables for 20-30 people, if not more
- Wireless that can support all those people
- A projector or large monitor is good to have, but not critical
If anyone is interested in helping to plan a sprint, I'd love to help out! I can't promise that I can make it up there for it, but if nothing else I can work with you in the planning.

How about coming up to Baltimore soon
I'd like to help organize something in Baltimore soon.
I'd also like to have you present at the Baltimore Drupal Meetup. 2nd WEdnesday in October? November?
Snake Hill
Sure
I think I can do Oct 10. Drop me a note so we can coordinate: brock@brockboland.com
In particular, would you like to do a sprint that night, or is that your regular meetup? I can do a quick spiel and answer questions if that's the case.
Hi Brock. We have plenty of
Hi Brock. We have plenty of space to host this at the Zivtech office. I will see if I can find someone here to help organize.
