For those of you not on IRC today, we've begun "planning/talking about" DrupalCamp Colorado 2013. The first item up for discussion is the location and venue. A sandbox project has been created to keep all the planning in the open: http://drupal.org/project/issues/1797098?categories=All
You can subscribe to that project to get notified of new comments/posts here: http://drupal.org/project/issues/subscribe-mail/1797098
Let's try to keep all the discussions within that project and out of g.d.o. - just posting here so everybody is aware of where our conversations are happening!

what types of events/speakers
Do you have a list/line up of speakers, conference program etc? I'm a beginner. Looking for help in any way.
Next, Location and Expected Turn Out . . .
Thanks for the update of the days scheduled. I have been attending the Drupal Ladder Boulder Meetups at Applied Trust (Thanks) and I have found that it has been very helpful. I intend to bring least three others with me to the training and camp. In regards to the location, I have an idea. How about Altona Middle School here in Longmont? I am suggesting this location because the Saint Vrain School District hosted a Hackathon for the students, teachers, and community at large a few months back and it was a great hit overall. I know they are looking for another opportunity to keep the momentum moving forward and this could be a great collaboration. Plus if we could partner with their sponsor, ATT, and long with our current sponsors, we could really span the impact and reach of this event. Just one thought to flow to the community.
preston, This year, we've
preston,
This year, we've settled upon having the camp at CU-Boulder. We'll be putting out more information really soon - stay tuned. The dates that Karyn provided above are still accurate.
We'll definitely try to keep your suggestion in mind for next year.
