One interesting thing at my new job has been the adjustment to a new communication process. One thing we were missing was a readily available meeting minutes template!
So I made one, and I'm sharing it with you today, for only 59.95!! J/k. It's frickity-FREE, WEEEEEEEeeeeeee!!!! Go ahead and use this if you like, and BONUS - Can you make it better? I'm open to suggestions if you've got ideas from your own template experiences :)

minutes template
Very nice, Shannon! My only feedback is a general complaint I hear from my team, which is that they don't have time in their day to do really detailed minutes of every meeting. Also, there is a concern that no one reads them if they're too long. As a result, we've tried to pare ours down to just the basics; anything that we didn't need to include has been deleted.
How do you manage these kinds of concerns?
Just use what you need
I def don't fill out everything every time either -- too much work! This serves for me as an uber template where I can get ideas about what topics I need to cover to be sure I don't miss opportunities to capture important data for the team.
Believe it or not, I used to have a much bigger 'ubertemplate' but it was too cumbersome. I typically always fill out attendees, agenda, to do's, and some variation on notes. I often fill out constraints (or Risks if the partner/client is ok w it), CSF's. Rarely do I need to do dependencies though.
So cherry pick what you want & delete unused sections at the end is my approach to avoid spending too much time.
Also, I hate taking notes after a meeting and try to do them during AMAP to save time. Whenever possible I share the notes as in typing to be sure to get everything right!
Hope that helps!

It's certainly a very thorough template. I like the idea of having reminders but since most of my meetings are simple status on cases, I would never use most of it. However, I may try to use it during the build project calls.
More important question: what does AMAP mean :) ?

have you looked at
have you looked at http://minutes.io ?
This template looks like it is aimed at a particular kind of meeting, than a generic template. However, there are some good pointers to pull into a project kickoff document.

My biggest problem with
My biggest problem with minutes is that I take much better minutes with pen and paper. I then enter them in (very inconsistently) and send them out. Obviously, it's an extremely inefficient process but whenever I try taking minutes on the computer, the quantity and quality of the minutes goes way down. I'm having trouble making this more efficient and would appreciate any tips you've found.
