Hi Folks, I'm teaching at High Tech High and I have quite a few students who want to create blogs and attempt to build online communities. I'll looking for resources (videos) that provide an intro to drupal that will help them understand how the software can help them build online communities.
Most of the intro to drupal videos I've found move too quickly into content-types, theming, nodes, and a bunch of technical stuff that just confused my students.
Any recommendations/resources would be appreciated.

I'm so pleased to see that Drupal has taken a foothold into HTH. A few things that might work:

But more useful is that Sage Tree/Drupal Anywhere would be happy to do have a free training day for you. We can do a nice full-day training that will take them through installing, configuring and building a simple Drupal site. You can contact me directly susan@drupalanywhere.com and we can arrange a day.
Also, SANDcamp is coming up again and so there will be more training and session in January. Talk with you soon.
