though it looks like mostly just Moshe and I are moderating groups, some additional minor UI improvements for Modr8 are here in patch form and I'd appreciate any testing: http://drupal.org/node/115687

I don't find the modr8 particularly useful. I usually end up moderating too many groups at the same time unless I explicitly set things back to "do nothing".
I do it "manually" by visiting the group and examining it, then editing as appropriate.

perhaps it has been a while since you looked at modr8. peter has done a great job here. we configured it so that the default action is 'do nothing' so you don't moderate too much by mistake anymore. further, all emails/approvals/rejections are logged now in a CRM like record attached to a node. thats great when more than one person is modreating.
so i ask that anytime you are communicating with users about group moderation we use this tool . as you say, for quick edits to content, we don't need it.
