Doattend.com looks promising, pricing is better than Eventbrite and people can even sign up the day of the event. We can also print badges from their site.

Le Plan
Our intention is to build a simple static page at the Keene Drupal meetup on May 2nd to announce the camp, and then build a full COD installation for launch on June 6th, using $event_service to sell tickets ($event_service to be determined).
Thanks for looking into
Thanks for looking into various payment and registration options. I found out that D4D 2013 is using COD's built-in registration plus PayPal Payments Standard to process payments. If we do that as well, will be taken to PayPal's secure site where they can pay with a credit card or PayPal account.

That said, we'll take a look at COD's options during next week's Keene Drupal meetup.
COD? What's that?
COD? What's that?

It's a distribution built for managing a Drupalcamp or similar conference.
Yikes! That's a scary story.
Yikes! That's a scary story. I wonder if part of that person's issue was that they were using his or her personal PayPal account. If I suddenly had $166,103.30 USD in my PayPal account, it would probably be investigated as well. :-)
I'm pretty sure that D4D is processing payments through the Drupal Association's Pay Pal account, which may mitigate that specific issue. I can double-check and let everyone know.
@Bob: COD, which stands for Conference Organizing Distribution, is a Drupal distribution for organizing events. http://usecod.com/
Are you sure it doesn't stand
Are you sure it doesn't stand for Communist Order of Dilettantes?
