We are starting a monthly meetup in Denver to focus specifically on DevOps issues that relate to Drupal.
DevOps is one of those nebulous terms that seem to vary in definition from person to person. From the perspective of these meetings, DevOps is the art of solving both technical and management issues related to deploying and maintaining Drupal for small to large shops.
We will begin by focusing on the individual and address specific solutions that can be used by a single person doing Drupal development. We will then branch out and discuss specific workflows, strategies and technology that will help an individual Drupal developer become part of larger teams on larger projects.
This will be a fun way of learning new techniques that will help you become the best you can be regardless of if you are an individual or a company. These meetings will be recorded and documented to benefit the community.
We will be hosting these meetings at the New Media Denver offices in Downtown Denver on the second Thursday of each month beginning in July. We look forward to seeing you there.
Food and drinks will be provided beginning at 6:00 with the presentation/discussion starting at 6:30.

Parking recommendations?
What does NewMedia suggest and recommend parking wise for these meetings?
Parking!
Great question. There are a few parking lots within two or three blocks from our location that range between $5 and $8 flat fee. Here are a couple of those:
* https://plus.google.com/114972762955525795875/about?gl=us&hl=en ($8)
* https://plus.google.com/114118031497472682838/about?gl=us&hl=en ($6)
There are also some free 2 hour spots if you're willing to walk 4+ (short) blocks to the north to 24th.
In addition, we have metered parking immediately in front of the office and on every side of us. The parking limit is 2 hours.
I would recommend (if this is an option for anyone) taking the lightrail to either the Union Station or 16th street and hoping the free mall ride :)
Hope this helps!
Thanks!
Great meetup, thanks cyberswat. I look forward to learning more in the months to come.
Followup
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that showed up and made this a great first meeting. It was nice to meet a few members within the Drupal community for the first time as well as see some new faces from outside the community.
If anyone has any feedback on the event itself and how we can make it better, let us know. And yes, we'll have a public wifi access point for the next meetup :)
Sorry I couldn't make it
Something came up last minute. Looking forward to the next meetup:)
