Hi all. We are not having a meeting next week, on July 2. Have a happy 4th of July week.
In August, I'm hoping that we can meet somewhere outside, and not at MIT. If anyone is willing to host us in their backyard with a BBQ, that would be ideal. Otherwise, maybe we'll go to a local park. The idea is to return to regular meetups in September.

Anyone know if an MIT outdoor spot can work, like the amphitheater behind the Stata Center? Might be the best choice. Anyone who knows whether we'd be thrown out (either for meeting or for having beer there), how about posting here.
If an outdoor spot isn't readily available, the Muddy seems to be open (http://web.mit.edu/muddy/hours.html)
If people want something new and don't mind not being on public transportation, Atwoods could be good (http://www.atwoodstavern.com/). We could post here about ride sharing. (I can give 4 people a ride from Haymarket/North End/Leechmere).

Hi, I called MIT Police, police detail required for alcohol consumption outdoors. I would suggest meeting at the grassy area above the amphitheater, then heading to the Muddy afterward.
