This is a meet-and-greet and many of us will be meeting (many for the first time) to talk about Drupal and how you're using it to change the world. This is part of the Transformational Learning Summit unconference.
Playaskool is at 3 and Esplanade and is the location of TEDx Black Rock City, which takes place at Playaskool the day before.
Last but not least, this is the first event of the new Burning Man group here on Drupal Groups. If you're using Drupal for your regional events or theme camps, or are considering it and are looking for help and inspiration, this is the group for you.

A Drupal Meetup on the playa, that's awesome. I was at BurningMan for the last two years and had to drop this year and I am seriously bummed. Oh well have a great time and remember, the Playa Provides.
Meeting recap and group photo
Thanks to everyone who came out! We had over a dozen Drupaleros at Playaskool, including folks from Kalamuna, Chapter Three, Bitcoin Bonus, Pantheon and Exaltation of Larks.
Topics we discussed included our favorite modules, a proposed Drupal distribution for theme camps and regional burns, and an upcoming Long Term Support distribution for legacy Drupal customers.
Before we knew it, Playaskool announced boba tea drinks for everyone and our group got in line. In this photo, a couple of us took over the boba tea stand and posed for a group photo:

You bet. We had about a dozen folks attend the one this year and I look forward to seeing how things shape up for next year's burn.
It's also possible that we might have a few virtual meetups. The Burning Man group at https://groups.drupal.org/burning-man is set up to provide resources to all theme camps and regional burns who are using (or want to use) Drupal for all or part of their operations.
