Respect the Reviewer
As a core contributor it is great when contributor's name is added to commit message. But a contribute is never possible without a master reviewer. What is reviewer getting out contributing to a project?
In the issue queue a lot of issues get stuck at community need review (CNR). When you start contributing more and more it gets harder to find a reviewer.
If community wants to encourage contributors to review more and patches we should respect and honor the reviewers. We should pay them back.
What's your idea?
Whenever a user set a patch to Need Work (NW) the original patch poster/new patch poster should be shown a yes no button with text "Do you find this review helpful" just like stackoverflow. For each helpful review reviewer should get a point and everyone is able to see points on reviewers profile page just like
Documentation: Over 1000 edits.
Helpful Reviews: Over 1000.
Helpful RTBC: Over 1000.
Similarly if a core maintainer finds an issue RTBC and it is ready to commit the core maintainer should award a RTBC point to the reviewer who RTBC the patch.
What are the benefits?
It will encourage the contributor to review more. We are able to fix a lot more issues which are CNR from long time.

I don't imaging this being too complicated on the review process. Just add a plus to comments in the issue queue that would give review points. Just make it so you can plus your own comments. Simple Ajax on the plus sign to so you don't even need to leave your page. 1 Plus per issue.
Formal contributor list per issue?
So the idea is to formalize the idea of a contributor list for each issue where sending a patch adds you to the list by default and you can add other people based on their help on review or design or anything else?
I'm happy with that, it'd obsolete a part of dreditor and would avoid UX people not getting credits on monster UX patches as well.

It would be cool to have this feature also for reviewing projects!
Having this feature in conjunction with this other proposal Force full-project application review for ALL projects, not one time only per user: https://groups.drupal.org/node/314058 would improve projects quality.
Helpful vs. non-helpful
This sounds great to me. Hopefully it would encourage more people to get involved in reviewing and speed up the time to delivery on solutions. My question is about your term "helpful" in listing the reviews on the user profile page. How could it be known if the review was helpful or not? Maybe just plain "reviews" would suffice.
