Drupal DevOps Meetup - Postponed Due to Rain!

Rescheduling this meeting due to rain.

We are going to postpone this meetup 1 week due to the rain in Denver. Same time, next Thursday ... I'll post a new node for it.

Time for the next Drupal DevOps meeting at the NewMedia Denver offices. This time around we are going to do a quick review of the latest changes to the drupal-lamp recipes that were introduced in the last meeting. That will be followed by an introduction to running your own chef server. We will introduce you to a tool called knife that acts as a solr powered command line interface to your infrastructure. I'll show you how to take the recipes that you have in your local environment and transfer those to the chef server so that you can provision the projects you've been working on in the cloud.

The goal of this meeting is to help connect the dots so that you can see exactly how your local working environment can translate to a production environment with total consistency and reliability. When we are done, you'll see that new deployments are as easy as running a single command and watching the magic.

As always food and beverages will be provided. Doors open at 6:00pm with the presentation starting at 6:30pm.
