Just been emailed about a CBD-based agency with a Monday deadline looking for someone senior to work through the weekend. Any takers?

You will be rewarded. Not
You will be rewarded. Not well rewarded, but rewarded.
LOL
$55 per hour?! ... add about $100 and perhaps a few may be interested.
Agree with commenters above
This sort of "offering" reinforces the false idea that because Drupal is free, Drupal services are nearly free too and all you have to do is throw a Drupal expert a handful of peanuts and they'll work on short notice, day and night and through the weekend....
Disgraceful.
Lets keep it professional
Lets keep it professional folks. Publicly ridiculing job-offers and pay-rates reeks of arrogance.
Agreed. It will also deter
Agreed. It will also deter people from going for it.
Think I received the same
Think I received the same message… They cast the net very wide. Must really be in need, hopefully someone can/will help…………
Sorry but ...
Urgent, senior, work the weekend ... $55 ... really?
Call it haggle room.
Call it haggle room.
Spare a thought . .
Before starting to bag job opportunities and pay rates, please spare a thought for those of us (well, me anyway) who are working hard too learn Drupal and other associated programming languages with no income at all. Did anyone here earn $55 hr on the first Drupal project? I guess the offending term in the job offer is 'Senior' rather than the pay rate. Anyway, anyone know of any projects on the go for a mature age 'Junior'? Even a good NPO that a Drupal fledgling could cut their teeth on.
Professionlism
As someone who hires Drupal developers I can tell you that the definition of "Senior" is not overly consistent across most of the development platforms i have worked in and probably the least so with Drupal. People's conduct on the internet and on forum's is one of the mechanisms i use to measure attitude and professionalism :)

Hey guys
So... what's the going market rate for a good senior Drupal dev nowadays? Does it vary much city to city? I will back in Brisbane in 1 month.
