Here's what's coming up for this December 9th meeting in the Balboa Park Hall Of Champions:
We're finally doing the panel discussion on Project Planning and Administration this month for December! We'll be talking about how to manage projects from the perspective of a Freelancer, or small Drupal Shop. What kind of software do you use for project management or billing and invoicing? What needs to be considered in the quoting process? How should we best manage external resources?
We'll spend about 40 minutes on the Planning and Administration panel before we get on to our usual round of Lightning Talks. Lightning talks give anyone the chance to discuss a recent Drupal thought, observation, or experience that takes five minutes or less to talk about. You can teach us something, wonder out loud why X doesn't work like you think it should, or ask questions about some Drupally thing you're struggling to understand. The only rule for Lightning Talks is that you're going to be stopping at five minutes whether you're done or not. Other than that's it's fair game, so have fun!
We'll save the last part of the meeting for a briefing on Sandcamp progress and general networking. If you haven't seen our new location, or you just haven't made it to the last few meetups, come out this month, as we'll have some great content to talk about. Newcomers are always welcome too, bring any of your friends that might be interested in learning about Drupal. We hope to see you on Wednesday at the Balboa Park Hall of Champions.

Food for thought....
We're bringing some sub sandwiches for tonight as well as a PPT presentation (promise it is very short, there will be no reading from slides)...food for the body and the mind! Somebody bring beverages?

Thanks Susan
Thanks Susan, I'll pickup some drinks on the way over.
Great discussion last night!
Kudos to Susan for leading a great discussion in her inimitable and engaging style. This was worth every minute we went overtime. Can we do something similar at SANDcamp?
Speaking of SANDcamp: Everybody please head over to http://groups.drupal.org/node/39008 and put your name somewhere in the volunteer list. Also add camp-pertinent ideas to the bottom of the wiki. Together we'll make an awesome camp happen!

Thanks!
Hey Christoph,
I am very happy to do whatever the group needs. We can do a fun forum or panel, anything you find useful is fine with us! (Eating soggy leftover sandwich from last night).

A similar forum or panel at the camp would be awesome. It was great-- sorry I was working through most of it. :)
37Signal Podcast on Client Pricing
Thanks Susan for a fantastic discussion. I'm partway through listening to the 37 Signals Podcast on Free vs. pay, how to set prices, and why targeting nonconsumption is a good idea. Can be found here: http://37assets.s3.amazonaws.com/audio/Episode3-12_01_2009.mp3
