In Google Chrome, it looks like I want it to look.
In IE, the text and the links completely disappear.
In firefox, there is a giant gap between the logo and the menu.
What gives?

Which version IE are you using? The bane of web designers is written about all over the net. Google is your friend.

I cannot offer any help with it, but just wondering what version of IE are you using? As pointed in another message (above) that it is working well with IE8.
