It's been a while since we hosted a meet-up here in Boulder, so it's high time we did! And I say "high" specifically because we'll be meeting on our new top-floor office annex in our 3-story skyscraper building, meaning we'll be higher than just about everyone in downtown Boulder. [Google map]
We'll start off with a little presentation of some theming tricks, and then have some Q&A and general discussion on whatever people are interested in. Afterwards some may want to continue in a more informal discussion over beer at one of the many establishments within a few blocks of the office.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP with a comment here, and please feel free to add any topics you'd like to cover.
See you next Wednesday!

This sounds great. I've never gotten to connect with anyone in the Boulder community -- I'm looking forward to it. Thanks to pingVision for hosting!
Gonna try to make it ...
I'm going to try to make it and can offer a few updates about what we've done since last year ... or How We Learned to Stop Wring Custom Modules and love the capabilities of Views & CCK :)
Would also be interested in hearing about v6 and SQL Server support (if anyone has an interest on that front).
Our recently upgraded site is up at:

welcome back
Yes, it will be great to hear about that!
I think the last thing I remember from your last meeting was "why does anyone need views?" so it will be interesting to hear about your transition :)

A lot can change in a year! ;)
You've got a good memory. Views/CCK has changed a lot since the days of flexinode. I'm still paranoid about performance, but devel has helped to demystify a great deal of drupal. We're not driving a huge site, but we've got about 18K nodes in the system, so the migration from custom ASP/SQL Server code to views/CCK was definitely interesting.
So far/so good.
Cheers,
Matt

SQL Server Support
I'm in the Denver area and would love to share info re: SQL Server. I've been working with Souvent22 to get SQL Server support in the abstraction layer. Souvent22 has spear-headed this and I have helped a lot on debugging and rallying for SQL Server 2000 support (vs. 2005). We know that Dries has been keeping an eye on our progress, but I don't see it being ready for D6, unfortunately. I currently have a working copy of Drupal running on Win 2k3, IIS 7, SQL Server 2000.
matt_paz, if you're planning to attend on Wednesday, I'd love to chat - this would be my first time attending. Let me know.
Cool ... that sounds great!
Awesome. I've been monitoring some of the threads on this topic on and off for sometime now. I'm hoping I'll be in a position to resume testing soon.
That's a bummer, but I'm glad to hear that the effort hasn't lost much traction.
Sweet. That shows a lot of progress.
I'm definitely going to try & make it now. Would love to chat about this. I'll shoot you a follow up on your contact page.
Sounds good
I'll be stopping by and it will be my first meeting.
