It's been a while since there's been any activity here, but I know there are still plenty of Drupalers in Utah. Now that the holidays are over with, anyone want to start discussing another meetup?

Let's get together.
I would love to get together with other fellow Drupalers. I've been looking forward to it ever since I joined this group a few months ago. You have my support.
I'm in, just say when.
I'm in, just say when. ;-)
Count me in
If it's gettable-to, I'll be there.
We have a meeting location
My name is Ben Paynter and I have an office on 123rd South that will hold about 10 people. If there are only 10 of us then we can for sure hold it here.
Thanks,
Ben Paynter

I think there are going to be quite a few more than 10!

In the past we've ranged from as low as 3 to has high as 15+, so I agree, we'll need to plan on more than 10. Although I do like the central location...

And I may be able to get us a location downtown Salt Lake. Let's get few tentative dates and I'll find out.

How's the parking at your location? The only complaint I have about meeting downtown is you often have to pay for parking, or walk forever...

I'd be interested as well. If you can't get us a place jeremyr, we can always meet in our offices again (downtown SLC).
Sounds great
I just moved here from NYC and would love to see what's going on in the Utah Drupal community.

@webchuck, there is a
@webchuck, there is a dedicated (free) parking structure at this building. No need to deal with street parking. If we can pick a few dates I can find out or if j_ten_man's location works better that's fine with me.
I want in
I want in as well. I am WAY green when it comes to web design, and I have never used Drupal yet. Just let me know when and where. After 6 pm is best for me (after work). Thanks

I want to join in!
I would love to join in on the fun, I love Drupal, and somewhat active via the IRC support channel so I'm looking forward to getting together with other Drupal heads. I would prefer a location in Salt Lake valley as I'm an Ogden man and I really don't enjoy driving to Provo/Orem.
The 123rd location sounds good to me that way I can get some In-N-Out Burger LOL I love that place!

Depending on what you decide on time and location, I would like to be there if I can make it.

Totally missed the above. There's an In N Out in Utah now?
In-N-Out in Utah
There sure is my friend I drove up from Ogden last week just to eat there. Off 123rd in Draper, also one in Orem I believe.

That is a true sign of progress! :-)
As for the meet-up, if it works out for everyone to do this in Salt Lake Valley, my vote is for that. I haven't been able to join the last few times, and I've been looking forward to meeting with other Drupal people.
So we have lots of interest,
So we have lots of interest, now let's find a time... I think it makes sense for those who have the office space (j_ten_man and jeremyr) to let us know what works with your schedule, and we can then pick which times work best for the group.
I am good basically any day
I am good basically any day (including Saturdays) and we can use our offices. I usually don't have anything in the evenings. So any evening will work for me.
Ok -- how about we meet
Ok -- how about we meet February 9th (a Tuesday) at 7pm at either j_ten_man or jeremyr's place. Would one of you check if that date / time works and report back?
Kyle Mathews
That works for me.
That works for me.
Ok -- the event and agenda
Ok -- the event and agenda wiki are created. Please sign up to give talks and let's get this thing rolling.
j_ten_man -- can you add an embedded map to the location of your building + directions to your office? Thanks.

Sponsorship for next meeting
Hi all,
Kyle asked me to post here.
I'm one of the engineers working on XMission's new hosting platform, Stackable.
We've always been supporters of local user groups around town and we'd like to help out the Drupal group as well. We're happy to bring by some pizza and soda for the next meeting. We're also interested in learning what else you guys need to help your group grow and be successful. Feel free to drop me a line with ideas of what we can do to help. Otherwise I look forward to seeing everybody at the next meeting.
Cheers,
-mp
