We will be hosted by the MIT Drupal Group in Cambridge in Building E51 - Tang Center in E51-145.
Lightning Talk Format
We'll do lightning talks for both hours of the meeting. Each volunteer will get up to 5-10 minutes to ask questions of the group, present your recent Drupal work, or other lead Drupal discussion. This is an open floor, and no preparation is required.

Dinner and Drinks
During the meetup, we'll take an order for a group dinner and after lightening talks, head over to the MIT's on campus pub Muddy Charles for drinks and food.

Seeking Inspired Web Creators! Join our Drupal learning and career program!
The 14-week paid program is comprised of classroom learning, independent projects, direct mentorship, on-the-job training, and job rotations with customer-facing teams across Professional Services and Customer Support. Our goal at program’s end is to offer you full-time employment and create career opportunities for people in the Drupal Community.
Here’s an Overview of the Program
We will take you through an intense hands-on learning program designed around Drupal, Acquia Product and Services, and Business Acumen skills like Agile methodology, problem-solving, team collaboration, business writing, and presentation skills. There are 6 weeks of structured classroom training and 3 job rotations ranging from 2-4 weeks with our client facing teams. You will be supported by a full-time dedicated learning team, a person mentor from the Acquia, and the encouragement of the Acquia community. Ample opportunity will be provided to get entrenched into the Drupal community with team-sponsored Hack-A-Thons, participation in local DrupalCamps, MeetUps, and other professional and social organizations.
First and foremost, we are looking for people with POTENTIAL - the potential to help us continue to build the Acquia and the Drupal community - people who are passionate about the web, open source development, and able to inspire a little crazy in us all.
Here are the Basic Experience Requirements
Ability to work collaboratively with a team or independently, depending on the situation
Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities
Strong desire and ability to learn in fast-paced environment
1-3 years of experience, inclusive of work experience, internships, personal projects, and college study in:
Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP or any modern content management system OR
Programming experience: PHP, JavaScript, Microsoft ASP or ASP.NET, Python, Java, or virtually any other language commonly used in the creation of web sites
