I was thinking since we have not really discussed having a camp if people would be interested in hosting sprint to help with D8 similar to what this group is doing.

I realize that Aquia might be doing something but I don't see why we could not host a sprint day too.

Good idea

This is not only a good idea, so we can get D8 done...but this is also a good oppty for us to use some of that DA money that I keep getting reminded we have.

That was my thought too,

It would be so much easier to put together than a camp. Since no one has done much talking about a camp it looks like we won't have one in 2015.

At the farm...

I'd offer to host it at Miles Smith Farm, but I'm not sure the WiFi will handle it.

Do we want to have a meeting with a similar number of attendees to see how many connections we can handle?

+1 for a meeting at the Farm

+1 for a meeting at the Farm to test the wifi! (I really just want to see all of your fury friends again.)

Meeting at the farm...

Right now - the big furries are just walking mounds of snow - but this is their element and they love it!

If the group is serious - we may be able to take over the Inn for the camp, but we'd have to do it when we don't have reservations. Is there a time-frame?

Rotate?

How about one per quarter in different locations? We could have one at the Farm, one in Middle Earth, one in Keene, etc.

Count us in!

The Seacoast DUG has expressed interest in hosting a contribution sprint. Please let me know potential dates and I'll see what works for us at our next meeting.

I think having 3 coding

I think having 3 coding sprints in different locations would be a great way to go. I do believe we need to have the sprint organized to some degree possibly down to what issues are going to be worked on etc.

Looks like I dropped the ball

Looks like I dropped the ball on my own idea, sorry have a lot going on including a new job. We did discuss this at last months Manchester meetup and there was interest in getting together possibly at the Miles Smith farm code sprint would be optional. Not sure what was discussed at the other meetups, Matt, Damien & JP can you give an update. I do want to let everyone know that I am moving in May and it will be out of the area down to either Virginia or Maryland. Don't let this stop anyone from planing a Coding sprint, it would give me a reason to come back and visit. :)
