Just wanted to get an "official" discussion going about DrupalCon LA. Going to a DrupalCon is a great experience and LA isn't that far from Utah. So I wanted to get a thread going to get people talking about travel plans. I'd really like to see a large representation of Drupal Utah at this DrupalCon.
If you need a ride, can give a ride, or want to split the cost of a hotel room please comment here so others can coordinate with you.

I live down in Cedar City and would love a ride! Happy to share in gas costs. I would also be interested in sharing hotel costs with someone or a few people (heck, I don't even mind sleeping on the floor to save a bit of money!). Definitely planning to go, but have been hesitant to book a room for this exact reason. Thanks for starting this thread.
I might be able to help you
I might be able to help you out with the ride! I'll be leaving from St. George (but can drive up to Cedar to get you) on May 11th, and coming back either May 15th or 16th--details on my end have yet to be finalized.
I wouldn't be able to help out with the room though, because I am staying with family friends.
I'll keep you posted as my plans get confirmed and whatnot.

That would be great Logan! I may even be able to meet you in St. George.
Will you be driving in from where you are staying with friends each day? I'm wondering because if that is the case I would be interested in knowing the address to see if I can find a less expensive hotel in the area and then I could drive in with you each day. Of course I understand if you are planning to spend more time with friends and such and wont be going every day.

That would be great!
I am staying in Torrence, so anywhere between there and downtown I could help out with.
I'll be there, but I'm making
I'll be there, but I'm making a family vacation out of it, so unless you want to sit in the back seat between a 6 year old and 2 year old, I can't offer a ride. But I look forward to seeing everyone there. We'll definitely have to do lunch together as we have in the past.
Still waiting on approval
I'm still waiting to hear if work is going to send Glen and I. It's likely they will. If so, we will be flying. If they aren't going to send us, I'm not sure what my plans will be yet. I'll know Monday.

Shared room
I am looking for a room share. Haven't booked the hotel yet. Anybody looking to share a room in Ritz Milner or any others at walking distance ?
I would love to share a room
I would love to share a room and would be happy to stay in a place that is walking distance.
Shared room
I booked a room here (airbnb): https://www.airbnb.co.in/rooms/4184378?checkin=10-05-2015&checkout=15-05...
It is just about $5 away by lyft or uber to the venue and 0.9 mile walking.
Happy to share the room. There may also be another room in the same place.

Unfortunately, I've had some major conflicts come up during the dates of DrupalCon so I will no longer be able to attend. Super sad =(
Will be there, but not yet booked
I looks like the company will be sending 2 possibly 3 of us down. I'll know more on Friday.
I've been debating whether to
I've been debating whether to go or not, and the biggest issue is that I don't think my employer would pay for any of it, leaving it all out of my own pocket. And I'm already taking vacation time to go to Comic-Con in San Diego this July :D
That said, if anyone knows how I could convince my company that it's worth the expense, I would love to attend if it didn't take away from my personal time...
Have you tried anything from

The problem is that Drupal
The problem is that Drupal isn't a very big part of our company, so the value to them is probably negligent. I'm not even currently on a Drupal project :(
Splitting Room?
Was finally confirmed that I'm going to LA anyone still looking to split a room? Mon-Thurs
