The monthly Ann Arbor Drupal Users Group meetup is coming up next Monday, April 27 from 7 - 9 PM at Ann Arbor Spark Central (330 E Liberty St).
This month I'll be presenting on the Entityform module. (https://www.drupal.org/project/entityform) For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, the Entityform module enables Drupal site builders to create front-end forms without writing any code, similar to the well-known Webform module. However, Entityform has several important differences that may make it a better choice for your Drupal project.
In my presentation, I'll give you an overview of the Entityform module, show how to configure it to build typical survey and contact forms, and then dive into some of the benefits of its entity and fields based approach, including the hundreds of available field types and integration with standard tools like Rules and Views. I will also demo a new module I've written to integrate Entityform with the Organic Groups module. (https://www.drupal.org/project/og_entityform)
After the presentation, we'll have our usual Q&A time. So, bring your Drupal questions, and the Group will do its best to help you out.
And as always, I'm sure we'll go to Bar Louie after the meetup for some drinks and snacks.

Reminder: Ann Arbor Drupal Meetup Tonight
Hi everyone,
This is a reminder that the A2Drupal meetup is tonight at 7pm at Spark. I'll be presenting on the Entityform module. The demos that I created for the talk came out pretty sweet. So, I'm upgrading it from "if you're interested in Entityform, come check it out" to "if you have a Drupal site, you don't want to miss it."
To give you a little taste, we're going to create a system where people can reserve conference rooms and order various food services for meetings, and where the managers of those resources will be notified automatically depending on what is booked. There will be calendar views of the current bookings, and approval workflows of the requests. And we'll do it in about 15 minutes, without writing any code. It could be epic.
