As most of the Orlando folks know, our meetups have been "lightly attended" the past few months. In order to pump some new life into the group, some changes are a coming...
NEW TWITTER:
First, we just created a new twitter account for the group under @orlandodrupal. Please follow us to keep up with the times.
NEW EMAIL:
We also have a multi-admin monitored email address for the group at orlandodrupal@gmail.com. This address is accessible by myself, Alex McCabe and Ryan Price. Please use it as a backup form of contact, after G.D.O. and our Meetup.com page.
NEW LOCATION FOR MEETUPS:
Lastly -- and the most exciting -- Stephan Barrett, Founder of Second Form (www.secondform.com) has offered to host our next Orlando meetup at his office, located South of Downtown. Second Form has a number of Drupal developers who will hopefully increase our meetup's knowledgebase and offer advice and guidance to newer Drupalers who attend the meetups.
With this change in venue we will eliminate the issues we were having with the Library (most notably their schedule and membership requirements). Our next meeting will get started at 6:30pm and go till 8:30pm.
So for those of you who have been meaning to attend an Orlando Drupal Meet-up - this is your chance. Please join us and let's re-build a once vibrant Drupal community in Central Florida!

6:30 - 7:00pm: Beginner Track - Open Floor for Beginner Questions
7:00 - 7:30pm: Beginner Topic - (Topic/Speaker suggestions needed)
7:30 - 8:00pm: Intermediate/Advanced Topic - (Topic/Speaker needed)
8:00 - 8:30pm: Planning for next 3 Drupal Orlando Meet-ups (so we can lock-in agendas, schedule future speakers, and get announcements out in more regularly.)

Looks like a great reboot, although we will miss June (actually arrive on the 10th), we should be able to make July and/or August :)
