We’re looking for a talented designer/developer to work with one of our clients at the Smithsonian Institution to help them build and maintain their web presence using Drupal. You’ll work with designers, content managers, and key stakeholders to create the next generation of websites for our Smithsonian client. You should be an experienced and motivated individual who can roll up their sleeves to tackle problems big and small, whether they’re front-end or back-end. While this position is with our client at their location in DC, you’ll have the full support of Quotient’s multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, and engineers behind you. As their main Drupal person you’ll help train other staff members and teach them the Drupal way.
Create and extend Drupal themes/sub-themes using mobile-first and responsive design practices
Configure new and existing Drupal sites using core, contributed, and custom modules
Develop custom modules to facilitate integration with existing systems and services
Integrate internal or third party products into Drupal sites
Integrate commenting, rating, and other social networking features into Drupal sites
Migrate content from existing websites into Drupal
Perform site testing and issue resolution
Perform core and module updates
Provide training and guidance to new Drupal users
Support and troubleshoot with existing users in-person and remote
Manage and process support tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues
