I've tried everything ... but for some reason, videos (from youtube) aren't showing up.
I thought it was an FCK issue (more trouble than it's worth at times).
But i've used regular embed code that works with normal html, and things still don't show.
Any ideas?
It works with video by the way. Just not inside "article."
Why is everything such a god damned fight? GRRRR.

Something to do with Input format
Did you check your input format? Make sure it is not removing the embedded html from the node.

What does that mean? Use Full
What does that mean?
Use Full HTML and not partial, right?
When I enter the code while creating the article, there is a JAVA box. It looks like it will work.
But then I hit save, and it publishes without it.
You're right, have to use
You're right, have to use full html. But check the configuration of the Full HTML input format. Go to siteurl/admin/settings/filters and click configure and see the options and play with it.

WYSIWYG editor is damaging
WYSIWYG editor is damaging embed code. If you want to use mebed code within article, you will need to switch to Plain Text, paste it there and switch back. Have you tried that?

Thanks irakli and stattler, these fixes worked for me
I had the same problem as midek, but setting the CKEditor's input format to full html as stattler suggests, and then, in the body of the article's text pasting in the youtube embed code, and setting the CKEditor to Plain Text mode, as irakli suggests, fixed it for me.
