ATF Looking for Another Long Term Developer

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is looking for an experienced designer/developer to join the team working to build and maintain their web presence (https://www.atf.gov) using Drupal. You will work with other Drupal developers, content managers and key stakeholders to create and maintain the official ATF website. You should be an experienced and motivated individual who is willing to tackle and solve problems whether they’re front-end or back-end. This position is in the ATF building in Washington D.C. and all applicants must be able to pass a background check. Spanish language proficiency is a bonus but not a necessity. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Create and extend Drupal themes/sub-themes using mobile-first and responsive design practices
• Configure new and existing Drupal sites using core, contributed, and custom modules
• Develop custom modules to facilitate integration with existing systems and services
• Integrate internal or third party products into Drupal sites
• Integrate commenting, rating, and other social networking features into Drupal sites
• Perform site testing and issue resolution
• Perform core and module updates
• Provide training and guidance to new Drupal users
• Support and troubleshoot with existing users in-person and remote
• Manage and process support tickets to ensure timely resolution of issues
This is a long term contracted position on an existing vehicle. The opportunity is not available for companies seeking to subcontract.
