Happy New Year! Who's hiring in Portland?

This post is inspired by the "Who's hiring?" threads at YC News and picks up from last month's "Who's hiring?" post in December, 2017.

(Yes, there's also a pay-to-play Drupal job board, but there currently aren't any Drupal jobs in Oregon.)

Feel welcome to post a comment about your position, and please include the location of the position and keywords (ONSITE, REMOTE, FREELANCE, INTERNSHIP, etc.) so that others can easily find positions relevant to them. A one-sentence summary of your interview process would also be helpful.

Unless it's a clarifying question, please post only if you are the hiring authority or are posting on behalf of the hiring company. Thank you!

We build lasting relationships with our clients, and we do so with a style and thoughtfulness you won’t find anywhere else. If you share our passion for open source technologies and digital strategy, we'd love to hear from you.

Work on Drupal 8 (and some 7) sites for mission driven organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center and Humane Society of the US. If you like WordPress, we have that too with local organizations like Travel Oregon and Travel Portland.

We're looking for technical leaders who want to work closely with our inspiring clients as well as senior engineers. These positions are ideally local to Portland but remote is an option for the right person.

Senior developers at Squishymedia

eric@squishymedia.com's picture

Hi all, Squishymedia works on challenging and interesting projects for our clients in the nonprofit, scientific research, and public sectors. The sites and applications we build help neuroscientists share and analyze large MRI datasets, help federal government aviation professionals manage safety reports, enable computer science teachers to share best practices, and help healthcare policy professionals to perform complex statistical analysis projects. We're also working on a cool in-house project to apply machine learning tech to a current client challenge in nutritional analysis and tracking.

We're looking to hear from Drupal developers as well as mid to senior level open-source devs. Feel free to start the conversation by emailing your CV to wannawork@squishymedia.com.

Drupal developer at CoLab Cooperative - REMOTE

rootwork's picture

Sorry I couldn't be there this month -- happy new year to everyone!

The agency where I've worked the last year is hiring for Drupal. They're a great group of folks.

All the work is remote, but if you get hired I promise we can meet up and co-work together!

"CoLab is seeking an experienced Drupal developer who works well in a collaborative environment. We are a worker-owned cooperative specializing in building do good technologies. This position offers an opportunity to work within a team and build technologies which help make the world a better place."

Three to four years' Drupal experience expected. Drupal 7 knowledge required; Drupal 8 knowledge is a plus but not required. Project based 15-20 hours a week to start. As CoLab is a worker-owned cooperative, a path to ownership is open for the candidate.
