Should Drupal.org open up usage analytics publicly?

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

I believe firmly that any development is pointless without looking at how the user is interacting with the information. I am chomping at the bit to get those analytics.

I bet you with some finessing of the IA / UX we can reduce traffic by 10% by getting people to the info faster.

I am working with my Agency to see if we can donate some HBX hits to the drupal.org domain.

(http://www.visualsciences.com if your not familiar). We could really see some behavior through that. At the least can we get Google Analytics going?
