March DUG Meeting

Here's what's coming up for this March 10th meeting in the Balboa Park Hall Of Champions:

With Drupal 7 alpha2 out it's All Drupal 7, all evening long

But first we'll we'll do a brief round of Lightning Talks. Lightning talks give anyone the chance to discuss a recent Drupal thought, observation, or experience that takes five minutes or less to talk about. You can teach us something, wonder out loud why X doesn't work like you think it should, or ask questions about some Drupally thing you're struggling to understand. The only rule for Lightning Talks is that you're going to be stopping at five minutes whether you're done or not. Other than that's it's fair game, so have fun!

Then we'll move to Drupal 7, again in a Lightning Talk-style format. Many among us have started kicking the tires on D7, so it's time we collect experiences, cool details and gotchas. You will get 10 minutes to tell us your D7 story whichever way you like. This format intentionally allows for overlap and repetition, which we hope will highlight important points.
If you haven't checked out D7 yet, now is a good time. And maybe we'll hear your story too?

Newcomers are always welcome, bring any of your friends that might be interested in learning about Drupal. We hope to see you on Wednesday at the Balboa Park Hall of Champions.
