This month's DUG will take place online on Wed, December 9, starting at 6:30pm.
We have some great Drupal demos and informal presentations lined up! Elijah Lynn is going to talk about the va.gov open source project and Greg Boggs will demo a no-code Feeds + React + remote API solution used on the Library's new website.
Hope to see you there! All are welcome (even if you're not in the Portland area).

VA.gov
Hi all,
Looking forward to another virtual meetup!
I'll be doing a casual overview of the opensource government https://www.va.gov project. I think this may be the future of government websites right here! I've been working on this project alongside many others for the past 2 years, mostly doing devops but have a good handle on the whole stack as well. I'll share a bunch about it and answer all the questions that I can!
You can see the source code here:
1. Frontend - https://github.com/department-of-veterans-affairs/vets-website
1. Backend - https://github.com/department-of-veterans-affairs/va.gov-cms
It is fully open-source which includes a public files and sanitized database in S3 (follow dev setup instructions for Lando).
