Ryan Szrama, one of the originators of Ubercart (now Drupal Commerce) is going to be working in town from April 2-11. Unfortunately he will miss the April DUG meeting (which isn't until 4/14), but he would like to get together with Portland Drupalers while he is in town. A definite date/place hasn't been set up yet, but I was thinking the Lucky Lab in NW Portland (our usual post DUG meeting hangout) for a place. Ryan has one other meeting that week, but he hasn't planned it yet, so I'll let him chime in here when he knows what evenings will work for him that week.
Sorry for no specific schedule yet, but I just wanted to let people know so they can check their schedules for that week.

Ok, finally nailed down my
Ok, finally nailed down my week. I am indeed flying in as planned from April 2 - 11, and the only evening I have plans is Tuesday, April 6. Mon, Wed, or Thurs should work great for me if one of those are a regular meet-up night for Portland Drupallers. It'll be nice to be in a city with an actual Drupal community, especially when I already know several friends there. : )

Mmm, I'd love to make it to Seattle some time, but I'm guessing it won't be possible this trip. Will be putting in a full week's work at my parents' besides visiting Drupallers and with family. : )

Let's do Wednesday 4/7/10
OK, just to nail something down, let's shoot for Wednesday (4/7) at 6:00 PM, since that's our usual meetup night. It would be nice to have a place where we can all chat informally, but I'd also like to hear from Ryan (as I'm sure many others would) on what's going on with Drupal Commerce for D7. Do we want to do a place like our usual watering hole (Lucky Lab on NW Quimby)? Or does someone else have a better place in mind where we could meet and talk?

Get the meeting room?
I'll check on the availability of the Lucky Lab's meeting room from 6-7 to give us space to set up a projector and provide a quieter atmosphere with the same familiar location, good beer, and ample parking. (The right person wasn't in just now, so I have to try back). If there's another place folks have in mind, let me know. Otherwise, I'll book it if I can.
