Much of last week I didn't have time to work on my summer of code project. I spent a lot of my time on the phone trying to find a house to live and people to live with for this coming fall semester at college (Which starts at the beginning of September). I also had to spend time on the phone to get my classes ironed out and financial aid. I also had to spend some time on a drupal project outside of my summer of code project due to my funds running a little short and bills being due. And I also had to due some phone interviews for job positions after my graduation this coming December.

The time I did spend on the project I finished reading the jQuery book and started playing with some client side input validation for the drop down form on the project page. I don't know if this is a good way to go though, because of security issues, form validation still needs to happen on the server side, although it would cut down on page reloads, and in an environment where scalability is a factor, you could assume that input would be correct (after client side validation), and if it wasn't, would give an error (on the server side), instead of maybe having calls to the server each time a form is submitted.

Hi Xamox, Will case tracker

Hi Xamox,
Will case tracker have connection to the workflow_ng module? (i.e. events and actions)?

This was discussed, but we

This was discussed, but we talked about keeping the module as minimal as possible. Do to the fact that many people may not want that feature and just a basic project/case tracker.

I get what your saying, but

I get what your saying, but IMO having a connection to workflow-ng module is similar to Views (with the exception that Views is still much more popular then workflow-ng).

Where can we grab the module for testing?
Anyway, good luck with your code submission :)

I'd like to try the extended

I'd like to try the extended Case Tracker, too. Do you have it available anywhere for download?

I am a bit surprised: I thought when this project got announced we could expect a 'casetracker on hormones' with much new functionality by the end of August. Wasn't that why the project was elected for inclusion in Google's summer of code?
Could you please provide an update on where this project is heading, and in what timeframe?
Thanks!
